College Hockey Blogflash (August 13)

Donald has posted a write up on the Alaska-Anchorage Juniors. Read about it here.

According to Western College Hockey, Bowling Green picked up a commitment from goaltender Nick Eno, who played for Vermont last year. Chris also reports that Alaska picked up a future commitment from defenseman Steven Hoshaw, who will likely play a pair of years at the Junior ranks before stepping up to Fairbanks. Read about it here.

Chris also reports two coaching notes: David Noel-Bernier will rejoin Nebraska-Omaha as an assistant, replacing the departing Rob Facca, and Chris Kostopoulos was hired as an assistant at Robert Morris. Read about it here.

The WCHA blog checks off its 7th favorite WCHA city in its recurring series: St. Cloud. The WCHA blog noted that the home to the St. Cloud State Huskies is Mankato like, with decent access from the Minnenapolis/St. Paul area and some general fun stuff, but points were
deducted for ticket sales practices. Read about it here.
